| As of September 1st Guangdong will be implementing new emergency response and management techniques to better cope with future crises. With the plan being the first of its kind in the country it provides six categories of emergency response plans, including the general plan for the province and more specific plans to tackle large-scale events. It further outlines annual training drills to better prepare organizations.
