Some 20 projects, with the investment of 4.3 billion yuan, are to start in Zengcheng of Guangzhou after the ground breaking ceremony held yesterday. It said that the projects, covering 1630 acre, will breed an annual industry value of 9 billion RMB. And 18 of them are automobile manufacturing projects.
In recent years, Zengcheng, Huang Pu and Guangzhou Development Zone have formed an automobile industrial belt. Source reveals, Zengcheng will invest 5 billion yuan to build automobile industrial base, covering 22 square kilometers.
At the same time, Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding Co., ltd锛宱ne of the three biggest shipbuilding bases in China, and China Shipping Development Co., ltd signed a contract to build 4 Very Large Ore Carriers (VLOC) with a carrying capacity of 230,000 tons.
By the end of 2011, Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding Co., ltd will build 4 Petroleum Tanker and 12 VLOC. And among them, the first 305,000-tons carrying capacity Petroleum Tanker of China will be put into use in the fourth quarter of 2009.聽
