The two sides agreed to strengthen coordination and cooperation on regional and international issues.

The two countries remain committed to a peaceful settlement of the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue, it said.

In the communique, the two Asian countries also reaffirmed their commitment to the principles stated in the three political documents.
