Huang Huahua, Governor of Guangdong Province and Linda Lingle, Governor of the State of Hawaii, signed a statement on strengthening the Sister State-Province relationship between Hawaii and Guangdong on June 14.

Huang Huahua, Governor of Guangdong Province and Linda Lingle, Governor of the State of Hawaii, signed a statement on strengthening the Sister State-Province relationship between Hawaii and Guangdong in White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province Tuesday (June 14).

According to the statement, the two sides agree to strength cooperation on economy and trade, education and training, environmental protection, transportation and communications, tourism development and hotel services, cultural exchanges and the protection of cultural legacy.

The Department of Business Economic Development & Tourism of the State of Hawaii and Foreign Affairs office of Guangdong Province will continue to work as the liaison departments for the promotion and sustenance of the beneficial exchanges between two sides.

After the statement signing, Governor Huang hosted a banquet to welcome guests coming from Hawaii.
