Guangdong cools down with a timely rain Saturday (Jul 3rd) afternoon after temperatures hit record highs in the past week.

Guangzhou recovered from drought and sweltering heat wave when the rain swept the city in Saturday. The temp drops by 4.6 degree in two hours after the rain comes.

Typhoon Mindulle is moving away, while the weather will remain cloudy, rainstorms is expected to occur, according to Guangzhou meteorological observatory.

Influenced by a subtropical high pressure and Typhoon Mindulle, the temperature in most places of Guangdong is higher than 35 degree last week. Chaozhou meteorological observatory records an astonishing 39.4 degree in last Saturday.
