Officials of the Guangzhou Development District (GDD) held the Signing Ceremony for 35 major projects on Oct 29, including the DHL South China Headquarters; Jingnan Electronics, the South China Center for Innovative Pharmaceuticals, and others. There are ten leading headquarter projects, ten leading technological projects and five leading talent projects in technology including the Guangzhou Biomedical and Photonic Technology Industrial Park.

The total investment to establish these 35 projects amounted to more than 27 billion RMB, among which the investment in funds of the ten leading foreign manufacturing projects reached a total of 3.1 billion RMB . The total investment of the ten leading headquarters projects amounted to 21 billion RMB , including the Micott & Basara Anime City; the total investment for the ten leading technological projects hit a high of 2.9 billion RMB , including the South China Center for Innovative Pharmaceuticals; and the total investment of leading talent project in technology reached 500 million RMB. These Projects have huge brand influences, bring sound economic effects, provide high industrial development levels and are a strong driving force for our area.
