The "Road of Asia" delegation joined with the Nepal Handball Association at the beautiful Fewa Lake to promote the 16th Asian Games.

Mr Tej Gurung, President of the Nepal Handball Association, attended the activity, along with officials from the local tourism bureau, renowned athletes and dozens of middle school students.

Ms Zeng Weiyu, Deputy Director of Games Communication & Promotion Department under Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee introduced the Emblem and Mascots of the 16th Asian Games. Mr Gurung shared with the assembled group the story behind 5 Yang - the Mascots for the 16th Asian Games and how Guangzhou is named Yangcheng (the city of legendary/celestial goat).
Promotion materials and leaflets for the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games were handed to school teachers to distribution to their students.

"It is good to talk to our friends from China and enjoy the joy and freedom of sports despite the cultural differences and it has been a fantastic learning experience for the students," said Mr Gurung.
