The first session of Guangdong Foreign-invested Enterprises Commodities (Domestic-Sale) Fair opened has been attracting the attention of a great number of export producers, domestic purchasers and consumers.

30 professional buyers from the purchasing division of Carrefour in Guangzhou and Shenzhen are attending the fair in order to purchase advantageous products in Dongguan such as foods, consumer electronics, clothing, shoes and toys.
"I think the products delivered by Dongguan-based suppliers are impressive in their quality, fashion and innovative design. The toys are especially interesting. "said Stephane Deutsch, the Director of Carrefour in South China. Mr. Deutsch also revealed that Carrefour will continue to expand in Dongguan market and another three shopping malls will be set up within this year.

During the opening ceremony of the FECF, Barry Friedman, Vice President at Wal-Mart China delivered a speech as representative of the 4,700 purchasing enterprises involved with the fair. He holds that the increase of export-oriented products to Chinese market will be meaningful for Wal-mart in attracting customers and promote sales. Wal-mart will find more commodities of high quality and favorable price via the fair.
