Guangdong will use multimedia to showcase the province's vitality, charm and creativity on the World Expo 2010, a senior official of the province has said in a provincial working meeting recently.

The province will highlight its people's open mind and the province's cultures on the Expo, said Wan Qingliang, deputy governor of the province who is in charge of Guangdong's Expo participation.

The theme of the province's exhibition is "City as the window of Guangdong, Guangdong as the window of China."

The province will provide an exhibition in a 600-square-meter area in a joint pavilion with other 30 provinces and municipalities of China.

The province will invite experts to make the exhibition plan for the Expo, Wan said. He added the provincial government will keep in touch with the Expo 2010 Organizer during the preparation.

Meanwhile, officials of Guangdong's Information Office has said the province's official Website for the Expo 2010 had received warm welcome from local people.

The Website has attracted more than 3.25 million clicks since its open in last February, said Mo Gaoyi, who is in charge of the Expo publicity of the province.
