Various activities included in the "Germany and China - Moving Ahead Together" program at the Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center will be held from November 7-15.
A "German Avenue" is being built in the sports center for dance, concerts and opera performances, as well as movies, seminars and forums. Artists from China and Germany will present their talents to the locals at the festival. Admission is free.
The Guangdong stop of the festival is the third after Jiangsu and Chongqing provinces. Opening with a German-themed concert on September 27th, events featuring Sino-German cultural, economic, scientific, educational and architectural cooperation will last until December 20th.
The three-year program will culminate at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
