China TV Documentary Production South Training Center and South China Style Documentary Production Base were officially established in Guangdong Television Station in Guangzhou yesterday (Oct 8).
Yang Zhijin, Vice President of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Lin Xiong, Director General of Guangdong Publicity Department raised the curtain together for the two bases.
Guests attending the opening ceremony are: Yang Jian, Deputy Director General of Guangdong Publicity Department, Li Shoujin, Deputy Director General of Guangdong Publicity Department and director of Guangdong News Office, Wang Feng, Deputy Party Secretary of China Television Artist Association, Liu Xiaoli, Director of China Documentary Academic Committee, Zhu Jinghe, Executive Deputy Director of China Documentary Academic Committee, Han Yali, Secretary General of China Documentary Academic Committee, Wang Keman, CEO of Nanfang Broadcasting Group, and Bai Ling, Editor in Chief of Nanfang Broadcasting Group.

The two bases were co-established by Documentary Academic Committee of China Television Artist Association and Guangdong Television Station, with an aim to push forward the documentary production within Guangdong.
The bases invite the experts and experienced documentary producers to have lessons to or exchange with the staff of local TV stations.
Yang Zhijin, vice president of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, pointed out that television art developed along with economic growth and Guangdong, with an extraordinary development in the past thirty years under China's reform and opening up policy, were expected to become an ideal platform for the rise of documentary production and marketing and for enhancing international cooperation and communication on the field.
Li Shoujin, encourage the bases to turn their camera to record what Guangdong is doing today and show the films to the world.
