Recently, thousands of egrets have been seen swimming and playing on Liuxi Lake located in the Liuxihe National Forest Park. Experts explained that a large number of egrets, sometimes over ten thousand, would fly back to Liuxi Lake and spend their winters there between September and next January.
Due to the warm climate, migration is nearly one month later than before. It was predicted that more egrets would migrate to Liuxi Lake around the National Day holiday. By then, a photography exhibition on egrets would be held in the park.
