In the recent years, the western countries launch investigations of the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy (thereafter double-antis) for the enterprises around the Pearl River Delta, Guangdong province. It has become new trade barriers of for the enterprise export .

In February this year, the Commerce Department of U.S. announced an investigation of the double-antis on their imported stainless steel pipes. A Guangzhou enterprise manufacturing stainless steel pipe responded to the charge. It is expected that the result will be published in November.

The enterprise satiated at Guangzhou鈥檚 Huadu is a Taiwan-funded enterprise. Over 60% of its products are exported and 60% of the exported products are sold to the U.S.. In the case, four U.S. steel enterprises and their association charges that the product subsidy range is higher than the 2% and dumping range reaches 8.36-12.7%.

The layer on behalf of the Taiwan enterprise said that it will be a blow to the steel pipe enterprises as it is learnt that Canadian and European enterprises will continuously to investigate the double-antis. But they must insist on.

Gao Yaozong, deputy director of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic, said that there are six cases of the anti-subsidy investigation on China鈥檚 enterprises on the first half of 2008. Four of them are related with Guangzhou enterprises.
