Yesterday, Governor Huang Huahua of Guangdong province and the visiting Mayor Oh Se-hoon of Seoul, South Korea, signed a memorandum on enhancing communication and cooperation.
Governor Huang briefed Guangdong鈥檚 latest development to the guests and saying the province welcome both investors and tourists from Seoul.
Huang pointed out that Guangdong should learn from Seoul on urban planning, infrastructure, e-government, culture and tourism development and environmental protection. And the two parts have a lot of cooperation potentials as the province has a fast-expanding consumption market, a big manufacturing sector and abundant talent resources.
Oh responded that his visit is aim to learn from Guangdong鈥檚 鈥渒ongfu鈥 for economic development and to stimulate the bilateral cooperation.
According the memorandum they signed, Guangdong and Seoul will join hands to boost trade and investment by encouraging communications between their enterprises, to do tourism promotion and share related experience, to further cooperation on information and telecommunication fields, to enhance exchange on public service and management, etc..
