Guangzhou to boost R&D capability- China - News Brief

The Guangzhou Government plans to allocate one billion yuan each year to encourage scientific and technological innovation. According to a conference held yesterday (March 31st), the move aims to boost the city's R&D capability, with revenue accounting for up to 20% of the city's GDP.

A union for company innovation, focusing on R&D projects, will be set up in May.
