A joint promotional meeting was held by government departments at the south square in Renmin Park to introduce achievements and solicit public suggestions on the National Sanitary City construction program. Vice Mayor Su Zequn attended the meeting and, in the meanwhile, over 120 similar meetings were being held across the city. Statistics showed that over 500 thousand citizens attended those meetings.

At the meetings, officials from government departments in charge of urban construction, urban administration, urban planning, environmental protection, administration of industry and commerce, food safety, traffic etc conducted consultations to solicit public opinions and suggestions. Those citizens providing good suggestions will be rewarded. Also, citizens can share their suggestions with relevant government departments via telephone.
