The report on Guangdong SMEs evaluation and research 2007 is released today, saying the local SMEs outdid other local enterprises in growth of turnover, profit and asset during the past three years, these SMEs have become an important force for the provincial economic development. A list of Guangdong top 100 SMEs also comes out today.
According to the report, by the end of 2006, the 37180 relatively-large local SMEs contributed 2/3 of the output of local large enterprises and 70 percent of their profit and industrial value added. These SMEs in 2006 had a rapid sales and asset expansion, with 13 percent of them owning an asset exceeding 100 million RMB each.聽
