Guangzhou set up anti-corruption committee for 2010 Asian Games- China - News Brief

Hosting a large sports games as Asian Games is a big expenditure. Guangzhou plans a budget of 6 billion RMB for the venues and sites building and renovation projects. To ensure the budget is used properly, a committee of 25 members chosen from governmental departments and sports circle was established yesterday, which will be dedicated to monitor the use of funding and materials for Asian Games preparation.

Xu Ruisheng, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou, said with the committee will help Guangzhou to present a well-prepared, exciting and corruption-free Games to all Asian people.
