China and Japan will jointly hold the 4th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, from September 15 to 18, in a bid to boost cooperation between the SMEs of the two countries.

It will provide opportunities for SMEs in both countries to further cooperate, said Tong Xing, the executive director of the fair's organizing committee.

The Fair will offer a total of 5000 booths, in which 4000 for domestic enterprises and 1000 for Japanese enterprises and enterprises from other countries and regions.

This 4th session of the Fair is co-organized by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration for Industry & Commerce, Guangdong Provincial Government and related governmental department of Japan.
