On the afternoon of May 15, 7 students from the Department of Journalism, University of California, Berkeley, arrived at Guangzhou University Town for a one-month shooting of a documentary of Guangzhou on seven different topics with 40 university students from the College of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology. 
   
After a round of heated discussion, 7 topics are in as follows: Equity-buying Urban Residents in Liwan District, Labor Unions, Immigrants, Villages inside the City, Charitable Causes: Volunteer Workers/Divorce, Crackdowns on Criminal Youth and Disease: AIDS/Avian Influenza.
     
In the field shooting of Equity-buying Urban Residents in Liwan District, Cynthia Dizies, a student from the US, said that she once read some reports on the Chinese equity market, including some changes that took place in people's lives after they bought equity shares. The reports, however, were not sufficient. Therefore, she would like to take this chance to know more about it.
