Guangzhou "Golden Bell Week" to be held in December 2007 - Guangdong - News Brief

The sixth session of the China Music Golden Bell Award Organizing Committee held in Beijing on April 26 announced that the scheduled popular music and choral contests will be the first appearing in Golden Bell Award venue. The "Performance Award" event designed to attract the widest audience and music lovers will be held in Guangzhou and one other city.

The contests held in Guangzhou include the national piano, national violin and the national vocal contest (bel canto and folk) will be held December 13-20, 2007 for a week.

The contests held the other city, yet to be selected, will include national urheen contest, a national Chinese zither contest, a national chorus contest and national popular music contest.
