Guangdong tops China in tax declaration - Guangdong - News Brief

10 million individual tax certificates for the year 2006 had been sent out in Guangdong by March 31. The province ranks number one again in terms of the certificate number in the country.

250,000 Guangdong residents earning more than 120,000 yuan a year had reported their taxes to the taxation bureau. The number ranks the highest in the country. 230,000 Beijing residents had declared the tax by March 29, while Shanghai hasn't released the figure yet.
