Chairman of the Chinese Medical Association Zhong Nanshan gave a speech about health care on Monday. The speech targeted the city's white collar entrepreneurs who are busy with work and do not pay much attention to their own health.

During the speech, Mr. Zhong also warned that, as in previous years, the peak for flu outbreaks in northern China is from October to March, whereas in Guangdong, the peak is from February to May. However in 2007, temperatures in spring are 3-4 ?? higher than last year. The outbreaks of cold and flu are therefore expected to come later than usual, maybe after February. He said that vaccinations, medicines, proper exercises and a healthy diet and lifestyle are ways to keep illness away.
