Today Guangzhou welcomes the peak amount of migrants coming back to the city. Four hundred ninety thousand visitors arrived in Guangdong through railway from around the country yesterday. Among them 350 thousand were migrants who came back for work. The same day saw 350 thousand visitors arriving in Guangzhou and about 70% of them were migrant workers.
Railway: temporary trains to be opened for migrants
One hundred seventy eight temporary trains will be opened today, according to the Guangzhou Railway Group Corporation. Five more trains will be added to the Guangzhou-Shenzhen line. The trains are as follows: L731, L733, L735, L739 and T741. Four more trains will be added to another line from Guangzhou to Shenzhen.
Highroad: 24-hour security enforced by traffic police
Over 500 thousand visitors arrived in Guangzhou yesterday via buses and long coaches. Twenty-four hour security has been arranged for this peak time of transportation.
Airway: many discounts for planes departing from Guangzhou
Prices have risen for the planes which are coming back to Guangzhou. However there are many discounts for planes from Guangzhou to other cities.
