With the Lunar New Year coming, all kinds of Lunar New Year dry goods, presents and special local products are becoming the favorite purchases of Overseas Chinese and travelers who will go abroad during the Spring Festival. Furthermore, some foreign friends who are fond of Chinese culture are taking Spring Festival couplets, Lunar New Year pictures and fragrant bags which have strong Chinese Festivity Characteristics, back home for their "Spring Festival". All international flights are filled with a strong local Chinese atmosphere.

According to Airport Security Department statistics, many Overseas Chinese have bought a lot of winter fungus, dried shrimp, dried scallops, rice cakes and New Year decorations to take home to celebrate the Spring Festival and share those local specialties with relatives and friends abroad.

On the morning of January 12 at Baiyun Airport, a young British man who came to China with the intention of learning Chinese Kong Fu returned to his country with a bunch of incense sticks. He said he would worship the founder of Martial Arts before beginning practicing Kong Fu in his big western-styled house strictly following the traditional Chinese fashion.
