According to the Guangzhou State Administration of Taxation, Guangzhou's Foreign Taxation revenue achieved RMB 42.2 billion last year, 23.1 percent up compared with the previous year, with an increase of RMB 7.9 billion. It accounted for 54 percent of Guangzhou's total domestic taxation with a contribution ratio of 52.66 percent to the taxation increase on the whole. It ranked top of the various economy types, propping up half of Guangzhou's state taxation for 7 years running. The major increasing points for foreign taxation are automobiles, auto parts and accessories, telecommunication, crude oil and real estate.
