Renowned anchor of Phoenix TV, Ms. Sally Wu, or in Mandarin "Wu Xiaoli," has been elected to Guangdong province's advisory body.
Guangzhou-based newspaper Information Times reported that she was among the 76 new members announced on Friday at a meeting of the provincial People's Political Consultative Conference.
Meanwhile, another four were dismissed from the local advisory body for economic crimes or regulations violations.
