The Luogang District government in Guangzhou is seeking a poetic couplet for its traditional flower fair, which will begin from February 15.
The couplet needs to reflect the district's recent economic achievements and its efforts to build a harmonious society.
First prize will be 2,000 yuan ($256).
Couplets have been used for thousands of years in China, especially during festivals and happy occasions.
