Guangzhou taxi drivers practice grading management - Guangdong - News Brief

In order to improve the differentiation in drivers' management, Guangzhou Taxi Association has completed the works of grading examination, symbol design, drivers' grading list and etc. from July 2006 up to now.

At present, there are 3, 547 newly graded drivers (including 304 senior drivers, 677 intermediate drivers and 2, 566 primary drivers), and 4, 722 drivers rated the same as their original grades. The graded drivers totaled 8, 269, accounting for 25 percent of the total drivers in Guangzhou.
