In May of next year, more than 500 gas stations in Guangzhou will begin offering National Gasoline #III. Media reports indicate that, so far, Guangzhou has set up 41 dedicated National Gasoline #III stations in Baiyun District, Panyu District, Liwan District, Tianhe District, Huangpu District, and Zengcheng City.
The local commodity price authority has yet to publish the price of National Gasoline #III, a subject of great concern for motorists. However, local government authorities have indicated that the price will largely stay unchanged, but the final price will be fixed according to the regulatory requirements of the National Reform and Development Commission.
Presently, National Gasoline #III is RMB 0.15 more expensive than National Gasoline #II per liter, with Gasoline #93 selling at RMB 5.09 per liter, and Gasoline #97 at RMB 5.50 per liter.
