Men in custody for attempted robbery - Guangdong - News Brief

Two men are in custody over an attempted jewellery store robbery after a 12-year-old boy hid himself in a wardrobe and used a mobile phone to call police on Wednesday night in Wuhua County, in the eastern part of Guangdong Province.

Li hid in a wardrobe when the two men arrived on a motorcycle and allegedly broke into the jewellery store, seriously injuring Li's parents.

They were arrested as they attempted to leave the store with more than 60,000 yuan (US$7,672).
