A Guangdong delegation led by governor Huang Huahua arrived in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region yesterday (September 21).
Addressing a conference marking the 10th anniversary of the property aid project between Guangdong and Guangxi, Huang said Guangdong has successfully collected 930 million yuan of donations to support Guangxi's development as of 2005.
Huang promised to continue the property aid scheme and expand mutual cooperation. Chairman of Guangxi Lu Bing announced that, as a move to promote regional cooperation, Guangxi plans to build two industrial zones for Guangdong companies' investments.
The two counterparts signed 26 cooperation projects, involving 6.7 billion yuan in investments.
