Following the launch of its online Easy Check In (EKI) service in July, China Southern Airlines Company Limited recently launched a new service, the Southern Airlines Agencies Online City EKI Service. Passengers can handle boarding procedures and receive their boarding cards when buying their tickets. Passengers will be able to handle boarding card procedures at ten Online City EKI agencies in Guangdong that have been authorized by China Southern Airlines as long as the tickets they purchase are from China Southern Airlines and the ticket prices are not less than 50 percent of their original prices. China Southern Airlines plans to make the service available to the public on September 22. Details of the service are as follows.
1. The Online City EKI Service will only be available 1 to 12 hours before a flight's scheduled takeoff time.
2. At this time, the service is not open to infants, children and adults with infants or children.
3. Luggage consignment that cannot be handled by the service, will be carried out at the China Southern Airlines Check-in Counter before the flight is closed (45 minutes before takeoff). Passengers without luggage must arrive at the boarding gate 30 minutes before takeoff.
