The Eighth China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) will feature diverse electronic exhibits from multinational companies at the fair's ELEXCON exhibition, a press conference at the CHTF service center was told yesterday.
As an important part of the CHTF scheduled from Oct. 12 to 17, the CHTF ELEXCON 2006 will focus on the latest technological advancements.
Electronics giant Siemens will display the company's leading products at the fair. Semiconductor manufacturer NEC will also present products this year, the organizer said.
Murata from Japan will exhibit at the fair its Murata Boy, a bicycle-riding robot.
ELEXCON will be held in Hall 2 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, occupying an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters. Some 197 companies have signed up for this exhibition, of which 123 are from overseas. These companies include multinationals such as NEC, NXP, Spansion, OKI, TYCO, TDK, MuRata, EPCOS, Sony, 3M, Rogers, IEI and Musashi.
The overseas exhibitors are from nine countries and regions.
