An area featuring Australian animals in Guangzhou's Xiangjiang Safari Park, was officially opened to the public on last Friday (July 28th).
Guangzhou Mayor Zhang Guangning, Australian to Guangzhou Consulate General Kevin Magee and other guests attended the opening ceremony. The park highlights a koala home, providing comprehensive care for the adorable animal.
The park covers 13,000 square meters and also accommodates other rare Australian animals, including white and red kangaroos, along with Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos. An estimated 200,000 visitors have visited the koala since their debut on July 8th.
