An exhibition featuring fashion collectables opened yesterday (July 25th) in Shenzhen. The exhibition displays an estimated 2,000 pieces of fashion collectables procured domestically and from around the world.
The exhibition features over 40 exhibits of flatirons from past centuries, the oldest being a bronze flatiron dating back to the Han Dynasty.
Generally, flatirons are scoop-shaped and hold hot water to help press clothing. The exhibition features many rare and old garments and silver accessories. Tea pots from different periods of royals are also featured at the exhibition. The exhibition is the first of its kind ever held in China.
