NFC mobile phone, new by-product of Yang Chengtong - Guangdong - News Brief

Beginning June 26th, 50 Near Field Communication (NFC) mobile phones in Guangzhou were put into use for business purposes. The mobile phone lets Guangzhou citizens pay transportation and entertainment fees, while taking buses, going shopping or watching movies.

The NFC mobile phone uses built-in Yang Chengtong functions when it is combined with a NFC chip. Mobile giants including Nokia, Samsung and Motorola have developed their own series exclusive for NFC. It is expected that Guangzhou citizens can buy NFC mobile phones after Spring Festival next year.
