The 8th National traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of PRC will open in November 10th to 18th, 2007, in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province.
The Organizing Committee of the Games has unveiled its mascots, official emblem and the theme song in Beijing yesterday (June 20).
The mascot is a South China Tiger named Yueyue which means happy. It is expected about 5,000 athletes and judges will attend the event, the largest in its history.
