In the past Guangzhou citizens can only visit mosaiculture exhibitions during their trips to European countries or Hong Kong, now they can enjoy this art at the Baiyunshan Mountain.

The Municipal Administration announced that the first Mosaiculture Exhibition in Guangzhou will be opened to the public from September 28 to December 31 at the Yuntai Park.

The theme of the exhibition is "Green CityoHarmonious Sceneries". Nine public parks, the Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area Bureau, and garden designing agencies will send their works to be exhibited.

Mosaiculture is an arrangement of several groupings of small shrubs or herbages, which may be annuals or perennials, into a mosaic or arrangement of geometric or fanciful shapes representing an image, object or message. Mosaiculture includes both two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces, demonstrating both gardening techniques and art.

Now the designing plan of the exhibition has been complete and will be implemented soon. The construction will be finished at the end of August.
