Currently, the Chimelong Group, which is rapidly becoming a "tourism empire", operates Chimelong Paradise, Chimelong Grand Circus, Panyu Xiangjiang Safari Park, Chimelong Hotel, Crocodile Park, Changlong Golf Center, Xiangjiang Hotel, and the Xiangjiang Seafood Restaurant.

As China's premier amusement park, Chimelong Paradise Phase I provides more than sixty attractions on a site of about 67 hectares. The amusement park has a daily capacity of 50,000 visitors.

At the opening ceremony, Vice Mayor Wang Xiaoling stated that, as Guangzhou's top large-scale tourism enterprise and a private conglomerate with diversified business interests in catering, hotels, tourism, and aquaculture, Chimelong Group has contributed significantly to Guangzhou's economic growth.

According to Chimelong Group, Chimelong Paradise Phase I cost RMB 1 billion and that later phases will include top-class hotels and emporiums. The Group also says that it plans to build a nocturnal animal paradise on a new site and will be starting work on Chimelong Paradise Phase II.
