March 24-Organized by the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, the China Association of Recording Engineers and the Municipal Government of Guangzhou, the 2nd session of "Vocal Asia" (Guangzhou) Cultural Festival played its prelude.

Music of national characteristics will be the feature of this festivity.  Primitive national ways of singing will play an important role in the closing ceremony, to display the charm of Chinese folk music.

The highlight of the festival, "recording of vocal culture," will initiate an action that is dedicated to exploring and recording Chinese folk music and voices. 

By means of exploration, salvage, recording and inheritance, the cultural gems scattered all over the Chinese land will be recollected.
