Guangdong's regional "two sessions" opened in succession recently. In addition to Guangzhou's 4th session of the 10th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC), which opened yesterday (March 21), Shenzhen held its 2nd session of the 4th People's Congress today(Mar 22nd), which will deliberate Shenzhen's 11th five year plan.

Sources said that the program will highlight a strategic objective in building Shenzhen as a city that stands out in the international circle with six competitive edges including; high-tech development, a logistics hub, a financial and trade center, an exhibition and convention center, a cultural and information exchange center as well as a tourist destination. The meeting will conclude on Sunday.
