Governor Huang Huahua will deliver a provincial government work report 04 this Sunday on this year's provincial people's congress session. The report, according to Huang's introduction in a previous meeting, speaks positively about Guangdong's progress made last year, achieving 14.2% annual GDP growth, increase of residents' income and decrease of unemployment rate.

The report also features the 2005 provincial work plan. Other highlights of the session include a series of reports given by various governmental departments, two press conferences themed 'Construction of a harmonious Guangdong' and 'Development of west, east, north parts of Guangdong' respectively.

Besides, annual session of Guangdong provincial people's consultative conference will open on this Friday, on which attendants will conduct political consultation on provincial development and a seminar 'Establishment of recycling economy' will be held.
