In this coming June, Guangzhou will host the second Forum on China-Poland Regional Cooperation, followed by a Guangdong Government delegation’s visit to Poland.

Zhao Yufang, Guangdong vice governor and Mr. Ciebien, Consul General of Poland in Guangzhou, together announced the two events yesterday on Poland’s National Day reception in Guangzhou.

According to Zhao, last year, against the backdrop of economic downturn, the trade volume between Guangdong and Poland still exceeded 2.9 billion USD, up 8.67 percent and accounting for 1/5 of the total trade volume between China and Poland.

And as the first China-Poland cooperation forum was held in Poland, the coming session will be the first to be held in China. Consul General Ciebien said, the forum will launch a new way for further mutual-benefit cooperation between Poland and the provinces and municipals in China.
