Guangzhou Auto Show to open on Nov. 22

The 11th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition will be staged at the Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 22 through November 30, organizers announced at a press conference on November 14. The exhibition will be open to the public from November 25 through November 30. According to the organizers, a total of 915 vehicles will be showcased, and 60 brands will unveil new cars on the media day. Tickets to the exhibition can be booked by phone or online or through a dealer.

All of the world's major automakers are expected to take part in the exhibition. Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Toyota and other world-renowned automakers will stage a sizeable presence at the exhibition to show off their core technology. Leading Chinese brands such as Dongfeng and GAC will demonstrate China's technological prowess as a manufacturing hub. A number of high-end European automobile brands, including Britain's Lotus and McLaren, Sweden's Koenigsegg, and Frances' Bugatti, will debut at the show as well. Volkswagen and SAIC will stage shows as collectively for the first time.
