Nansha wins deals worth RMB 234.8 billion

Guangzhou's Nansha New Zone held an investment promotion seminar in Hong Kong on the morning of May 13. Officials of the Nansha Development Zone Administrative Committee inked 17 agreements with the representatives of a number of enterprises directly administrated by the Central Government, state-owned enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, privately-run enterprises, higher-education institutions, and scientific research institutes. The agreements are worth RMB 234.8 billion and involve investment projects in commerce and trade services, banking, energy, culture, film and television.

Nansha New Zone will expand its cooperation with Hong Kong in eight areas, including urban planning, development and management; banking and high-end commerce and trade, industrial design, law, accounting, tourism services, and architecture; innovation, R&D and design relating to traditional Chinese medicine, biotechnology, the environment and sustainable development, information and communications technology; data services; leisure, tourism and health; and shipping logistics.
