Tsang Yam-kuen, Chief Secretary of HK SAR government, in his visit to Shantou, east Guangdong, says more and more HK businessmen show interest in exploring mainland's service industry.

Tsang makes the statement in Shantou / Hong Kong Trade and Investment Symposium, held on December 2nd in Shantou, Guangdong province, saying the second phase of CEPA implementation has begun, and main focus of HK-GD cooperation will be shifted from the current goods trading to the exploration of mainland service industry. HK businessmen are eager to expand their service industry in mainland. And HK SMEs are willing to strengthen theircooperation with mainland counterparts.

The delegation, leading by Tsang in his Shantou tour, features 68 well-known Hong Kong businessmen from 28 industry sectors, including SMEs runners and professionals in service industries. Foreign commercial chambers in HK, for the first time, send their representatives, indicating HK-GD cooperation is arousing more international attention.
