GD becomes a big tax revenue contributor

The State Administration of Taxation and the Chinese Tax Magazine publicized the 2003 China's top 100 companies in tax revenue on September 12. In the category of private businesses, 15 Guangdong companies topped the chart.

In the category of foreign, Hong Kong and Macao funded companies, Guangdong companies grabbed 18 spots. In both categories, Guangdong ranked first among the nation's provinces in terms of the number of companies on the list.
