Lin Zeshan, a Chaoshan girl born in the 1990s, has transformed numerous waste products into artworks and changed her rented flat into a fairyland with her magical hands over the past year. This has helped her attract millions of fans on the internet in one year.
At the beginning of her entrepreneurship, Lin had to decorate her studio by herself due to limited funds. She reformed some used furniture and resources found in recycle plants. After she posted the first video of her crafting and decorating on the internet, it became a hit!
“My first video received over four hundred thousand likes, and my fans kept urging me to update my channel,” Lin said, “That’s how I started to create video contents by chance.”

Lin learnt the crafting skills in her previous part-time jobs. “I used to do part-time jobs during summer holidays in lots of factories, such as crochet factory, wool coat factory, and a Barbie doll factory.” According to Lin, these experiences helps her to develop her skills such as crocheting, embroidery and sewing. She even got creative inspiration from these working experiences.
Lin dreams to be a designer and now she has achieved her dream by being a blogger of renovation and interior design. In the future, she hopes that one day she can design and decorate her own house instead of doing interior design for others.
