On August 19, Miniso, a Guangzhou-based low-cost retailer, released its financial report for the fourth quarter of a fiscal year ending June 30, 2021. The report says the company's revenue in this period has increased to 2.47 billion yuan ($379.9 million), an increase of 59% on a year-on-year basis.

As of June 30, 2021, Miniso has already built a global retail network by opening more than 4,700 outlets in over 99 countries and regions, of which 2,939 are located in China and 1,810 overseas.

According to the financial report, Top Toy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Miniso, now owns 33 outlets nationwide as of June 30, 2021. Since its foundation, the company has been serving as the pioneer among Chinese pop toy retailers, with eight main categories such as building blocks, garage kits, sculptures and blind boxes containing cartoon figurines.
